"Last day at Shaw Centre"

A day of mixed feeling ...
After working a year at Shaw Centre.
It was my company last day today. We are moving to Dempsey Hill Road ...
Kinda miss my old office oledi.. No more waiting for lifts to the 19th floor ...
No more deciding where and what to eat for lunch in the lift ...
And even a simple breakfast of Mcdonald might be difficult ...

Good news though,
I will be able to get to see all the HQ ppl in one place,
Instead of running between Dempsey n Shaw,
More drinking nightout with my drinking kakis at our doorstep.
And its nearer n easier for me to go school.
And that are e plus points I can see now.

Hope everything will turn out fine at Dempsey.

"Hot Hot Sat Morning"

Wake up at 7 this morning,
got a hectic schedule to follow on this hot n humid sat morning
I went to wash up n had my breakfast,
and oops.. its 9 plus le..
Oh, abit behind schedule, but nvm, not working today,
shall take my own sweet time.

My schedule was as follows,
Went to RELC to submit my UOL application,
(RELC is at Orange Grove Rd, near RGS if u r wondering where)
After that went to SIM at Clementi,
to pay my school fees n submit application form to SIM.
(so many bloody application forms to submit, $@#!, cANNOT do at one go.. haiz)
Saw a few friends at SIM, but all nv see me ..
(bo pian .. not yandao enough)

After finishing these paperworks, it was 12 noon.
Planned to go Jurong Point to see the new extension
(been a bit shuaku, haven't been there yet)
So I took 154 which is a veri long journey to Boon Lay interchange.
After half an hour, I finally arrive at the new extension.
Alot of stores selling food, think u wont strave at JP Ext.
Almost e whole basement is food !!!
I shopped for around 2 hours.
and ended up feeling $100 poorer.
But I still feel I bought at a bargain.
So well, shall not think too much.
^_^

These cds at Gramophone is dirt cheap, clearance sale !!!
CDs n DVDs at almost half price !!!
How to not buy them ??? I control myself liao, nv bought ani DVDs, as i could not find Transformer, so only ended up buying these 3 cds.

After which, I stopped at Sport Town at JP1,
went in to look look see see,
But ended up with purchases of a shirt and bermuda,
Lucky my bro got World of Sport Discount Card,
entitled to 20% off.
Therefore total damage was only $98 for a shirt n bermuda,
so ppl out there, if you guys need to buy anything from WOS,
msg me for e discount card number,
20% although not alot, but still can save on a meal.
I m tired le.. shall go catch my afternoon lazy nap, keke.

"first lesson"

I began my first step towards my degree,
Started my first lesson ytd nite, bridging course in maths.
It was so foreign to me at first,
But as the night goes on, everything seem to make more sense,
I was nv so attentive in class before.
I was surprise at my own behaviour.
Guess the older u grow, e more u appreciate to stuy den work. Keke.

Hope I will continue my study in this right attitude.
We shall see how long I m able to last. =)

"Dad Birthday"

Its my Dad's Birthday last Sunday
We went to Crystal Jade Kitchen at Causeway Point
Celebrate with e whole family n uncles n auntie
A whole lot of fun n laughter
But e dessert at CJK sort of spoilt our mood alittle
We ordered something which came out other thing
Keke, aniway its a small matter
Most importantly everyone had a great time.

A Very Earthly Weekend,
Went to the supposedly highest "Mountain" in SG,
Bukit Timah Summit !! Standing at 163.63 m !!

For this Earth Week,
my friends n I decided to do some hiking in Sg,
we visited 2 natural reserves in Sg on a wonderful Sat Morning.
From Bukit Timah to MacRitchie Forest Trails.

It was fun and enjoyable,
Nothing beats having a group of good friends,
walking n laughing through the forest,
spending time to appreciate Mother Nature.

For the past week,
I feel that things are going great n smooth,
reali had a very good week,
and hopefully it will last long.

A truly blessed Week,
Thank you to whoever is watching me from up there .. ..

A Morning Hiking With My Family

Its a last minute decision,
happened that e whole family wake up at ard 8 am,
And my bro decided to go for some forest hiking,
And he asked the whole family to go along,
We were all very surprise to find that SG still have such a nice place to take a walk.
But do bring water along,
if not u will regret it.

It was quite a experience,
As there were alot of interesting encounters today,
we saw a school of fishes in the small clear stream,
a monitor lizard,
some monkeys,
and e most memorable one,
a snake gliding through the trees,
and I thought that was only available on Animal Planet.

And of cause this was the main objective for the day,
to get the Treetop Bridge and walk across the treetop.
Magnificent view from all angles,
and I realized that I m abit afraid of height,
and I m still having headache till now,
tink i m overheated by the afternoon sun.

And its going be Chinese New Year soon,
In about 25hours time???

"2009 Starts"

"Start of 2009"

2009 had started,
So I got alot of plans starting to run.

I visited a few beaches in SG which I had not go for years.
Went to Siloso Beach for NYE countdown,
Went AMK hub to match " Ip Man"
Den to ECP to watch the first ray of 2009.


My Company DND was a great start,
Had a great time getting drinks n drunk.


I had juz register for UOL part time Degree at SIM
Hope I will be able to complete it by 2011.
How exciting,
I am going back to Skool again.

Hmm,
Sumthing is still missing,
Have not figure it out yet.


Going for CNY shopping later.
Need some new jeans, shoes, shirts.

"Long Weekend"

Its a long weekend for me,
Have been resting for the past few days at home,
Nuthin much happened,
Juz lots of thoughts,
But no actions,
Hmm ...

Aniwei, just to share some joys in my life with u guys,
About a week ago,
I bought a box of handphone straps which I felt are super cute,
And I especially love that cute fat "龙猫",
Because it looks like a friend of mine,
LoL,
Just Kidding,
Its a cartoon character name "Totoro".

Recently I seem to get attracted to little cute stuffs,
Hmm ...
Is that good or bad,
Only time will tell.

"Christmas at my House"

!!!Merry Christmas!!!

This year, I invited my friends over to my house for a mini celebration.
It was fun to see everyone putting in efforts to make this a happy gathering.
We cooked all over the whole kitchen for our dinner.
And the world is really changing,
All the guys are hard at work in the kitchen,
Whereas the ladies are busy snapping pictures with the Snowman.



And these are the foods that we cooked for our Christmas Dinner.
Although it looked more like food for Chinese New Year,
But haha, we changed our theme to a "chinese style" Christmas Dinner. ^_^


Next thing is my adorable Snowman,
He was such a hit with my friends,
And I m still wondering what is so cute about him???
Hmm ... ...



Next we played a family game "pictionary"
Its a game of drawing and guessing the correct words.
And it was a very fun game,
Cause you will never know that people draw things so differently from what u are tinking.
A pity I did not snap some shots of the crazy drawings we had drawn.



And the moment came, when everyone was waiting for the clock to hit 12mdnite,
And Ho Ho Ho,
Merry Christmas !!! Time to xchange gifts !!! Eat the Log Cake !!!
That what everyone are waiting for,
and that's a towel that I have got for my xmas gift.
But never mind, I got myself a ipod nano from my company quiz a few days back,
So I still got a great gift this Christmas.

Just came back from dinner with my family at AMK.
Went to a SukiSushi @Boardway.
E food was not bad,
My whole family was so full after the meal.
After that went to shop around,
And ended up went NTUC to do some marketing with my mum,
Hahaha, and since I dun hav to pay,
So I ended up do some necessity shopping for myself too,
Bought myself hair wax n spray. ^_^

"Oh Chirstmas is Coming"

Its December !!!

Oh, Its Christmas !!!
I had spent almost the whole day looking for this Christmas Tree.

And its was a tough journey,
It began to rain from morning,
Til now still drizzling,
And today I am unlucky with public transport,


First I went to take a bus to Woodland Causeway Point,
And immediately I arrived at the bus stop,
I saw my bus went away right in front of me,
So I waited for 5mins.
The Christmas Tree at Causeway Point look ugly,
Though the decors were nice but its expensive,
So I resisted the temptations to buy,
Ended up I bought 8 wineglasses at Metro,
A good deal at 50% discount.
Cost me $38.90.

Next I went to Yishun Northpoint,
To my disappointment,
They don't sell Christmas Tree.

So I decided to go Bishan J8,
I went to take the train at Yishun Mrt,
And just so happen that the train I m boarding had some technical problem
And I had to wait like several mins before it moves.
And J8 also do not sell Christmas Tree.

Final Decision,
If AMK hub also don't have,
I decided I will not buy one for this Christmas.
So went to take train from Bishan to Ang Mo Kio,
And I am really unlucky,
The train I boarded,
Was down with some technical fault again.
Waited for the next train,
And the next train arrived in 2 mins,
But the train won't move,
Because of the technical fault of the tracks or the train in front,
Make me waited for like 10mins,
I decided to take the bus instead.

Finally I found the Tree that I wanted @AMK Hub,
Its at NTUC and at a discounted price of $95 for a 6ft.
Quite a reasonable price,
If I had bought earlier,
It will had cost me $120.

After I paid for e decors and tree,
Decided to get a cab home,
I had too many unpleasant encounters with public transport today,
But who knows,
Even taking a cab was not so smooth sailing,
When my cab reached Lentor Road,
There were a long stretch of cars,
I can't believe it,
The traffic light had broken down,
Ended up I still had to wait to get home.

What A Day,
Hope tomorrow will be better !!!
